Finalist Motorola Atrix and Lapdock

T3 Tech and Gadgets
A smartphone that offers a whole lot more, the Motorola Atrix can also be turned into your very own mini-computer.
Price: From free on contract (Lapdock: £299.99) | Motorola
Harnessing the power from the same dual-core Nvidia Tegra 2 processor found in the Motorola Xoom tablet, docking the smartphone beast into Motorola’s optional Lapdock transforms the Atrix into a notebook with a keyboard, trackpad and n 11.6-inch, 1366x768-pixel screen.
With Mac OS X-ish looks, the Lapdock's Webtop OS gives you get access to settings, peripherals and a Firefox browser. You can also interact with Android apps on the larger screen. Two USB ports means you can plug in external devices such as a mouse, and Bluetooth lets you pair compatible, wireless devices.
The Lapdock serves up eight hours of battery and offers a level of versatility we’ve never seen before from a smartphone. Could this be the blueprint for handsets of the future?
