Finalist LG Optimus Pad
T3 Tech and Gadgets
Joining a string of dual core-devices from the Optimus family, LG’s first tablet is uniquely the only slate on the market capable of capturing 3D content.
Price: £899.99 | LG
LG’s mobile uses dual-core architecture to ensure blazingly fast performance. As well as displaying 3D content it can also record it thanks to twin, 5-megapixel cameras.
Running on Android 2.2, the 4.3-inch screen sports its own 3D hotkey, giving access to a 3D Zone where you’ll find stored 3D pictures, games and video, as well as an easy way to launch the 3D camera.
An HDMI out means it can be hooked up to your 3D (or 2D) TV, and with deals struck with the likes of YouTube and Sky to bring downloadable content, the Optimus 3D could be the device to truly bring 3D to the masses.
