BlackBerry Torch 9800
T3 Tech and Gadgets
Already a businessman’s best friend, RIM unveiled the BlackBerry Torch handset with intentions of challenging the market dominance of Apple and Android with a little more multimedia prowess.
Price: £498 | BlackBerry
The QWERTY slider with a 3.2-inch touchscreen is the first handset to sport the new BlackBerry 6 OS which brings a new-look improved interface, excellent multitouch, multimedia apps and the WebKit browser.
A comfortably sized screen ensures video playback and browsing is well catered for, while the addition of a 5-megapixel camera with flash is a massive step up from previous BlackBerry handsets
New social feeds lets you get your social networking fix syncing multiple accounts, including Facebook, Twitter, Blackberry Messenger and Yahoo Messenger, while the customizable homescreens let’s you add music, video, pictures and more.
Crucially though, the Torch does what most BlackBerry phones does best, and that is excellently handling all your emailing and messaging needs in the polished fashion that we have come to expect from RIM.
