Winner of the 2009 T3 Gadget Personality of the Year award, Stephen Fry is out to reclaim his crown and despite little active involvement within the tech industry remains an ardent fan and one of its most influential followers.

Despite a couple of well publicised spats, Fry remains one of the most popular members of the Twitter community, with a "cult" following that is well over 2.5 million strong.

Fry’s often to be found extolling the virtues of the latest Apple arrivals across the national media, but his gadget obsession doesn’t end there – he praised Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 OS during last year’s T3 Awards ceremony.
