Typically BlackBerry, the Bold 9780 has a great QWERTY keyboard for instant messaging and emailing, but it’s shunned touchscreens this time, though it does use the new Blackberry 6 OS.

Staying in touch remains a cinch, allowing you to email and IM your way through your commute, and thanks to the 5-megapixel camera you can snap anything you find amusing, then send it instantly to friends.

Despite its suit-and-briefcase image, this BlackBerry has been a hit with young people as well, thanks to its affordability and the excellent BlackBerry Messenger service – another great way to kill time on your commute.
