Judge: Jane Douglas

Jane Douglas is an editor of MSN’s Tech & Gadgets channel, for which she writes features, news and reviews on technology, consumer electronics and video games. A keen gamer, she also hosts a regular gaming podcast alongside Iain Lee and fellow Tech & Gadgets editor Nik Taylor, and occasionally presents video for MSN.

As part of Tech & Gadgets’ drive to grow its live events coverage, Jane has reported from key technology and gaming industry events such as Las Vegas’ Consumer Electronics Show and the Electronic Entertainment Expo in Los Angeles.

With a background in science, Jane started out in science-focused technology journalism and communication, before moving into consumer-focused, commercial gadgetry. Prior to joining MSN in early 2008, she worked in science communication at the European Space Agency’s research and technology centre in the Netherlands.
